Anaves Music, a Vienna-based independent record label, has published its debut album, "Bass Jam," which features an explosive blend of Dancehall, Dub, Reggae, Groove, and Trap (Rap/Hip Hop). Anaves Music, created by saxophonist and producer Sebastian Schwager, also known as Sabolious, is dedicated to transcending genres and borders. The label delivers a deep, varied blend of reggae, hip-hop, and soulful music.
Since its start in 2019, Anaves Music has served as a forum for musical innovation and expression, showcasing a diverse range of artists worldwide. The label's first release, the "No To Racism" EP featuring Jamaican Reggae veteran Fred Locks, came out in July 2020.
Since then, Anaves Music has released over 20 digital releases, garnered international radio exposure (BBC, FM4, Radio Superfly, ByteFM), and appeared in major magazines (Reggaeville, Riddim Mag, Culture Dub, WDR).
"Bass Jam" is the climax of Anaves Music's journey, with both new tunes and highlights from prior releases. The album has contributions from a diverse range of performers. Sabolious performs on four tracks, with Carinthian musician Kol.EE aka King D provides strong hip-hop elements and Viennese artist Thera P. gives a jazz touch. The international roster includes Bandulu, Awa Fall (Sista Awa), Fred Locks, Dr. Ring Ding, Lofi Sax, and Ashanti Selah, with remixes by Umberto Echo and Three Lake Music providing depth.
The album's tagline reads, "Get ready to skank!" "Bass Jam" promises a bass-heavy, genre-bending musical event that will captivate audiences worldwide.
