Miles East Premieres New Album 'Between Lightning and Thunder'

Miles East has finally released his much-anticipated new album, "Between Lightning and Thunder," to widespread acclaim.  The record, which was published on June 7th by ECR Music Group, has already received extensive attention.

Before the album's release, East's three singles received over 300,000 streams and were included on Apple Music's "New In Rock" editorial playlist. This pre-release success has fostered a burgeoning fan following on five continents, eagerly anticipating the entire album.

Blake Morgan, a respected indie music luminary, produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered "Between Lightning and Thunder". The album's music is influenced by Beck's "Sea Change" and Paul McCartney's "Ram," with introspective and melodic elements reminiscent of Iron & Wine, Ray LaMontagne, and Jason Isbell.

The album delves into the dark seas of a troubled relationship, starting with the optimistic "Better Than Here" and ending with the redemptive "All I Need." Standout tunes "All Hands On Deck" and "Lucky to Be Here Tonight" deal with struggle and gratitude, respectively, while "Song of Hope" encourages listeners to embrace the potential of a better future.

Miles East of New York City joined forces with Morgan and multi-instrumentalist Justin Goldner to create a highly layered sound. East comments on the collaboration, writing, "The resulting aural stew, its scope, and depth, is an exquisitely rich one rendered by only three musicians."

"Between Lightning and Thunder" is now available on all major streaming platforms, inviting listeners to experience Miles East’s latest masterpiece.
