Patti Spadaro Band Releases Empowering Single, "Glass Shatters"

The Patti Spadaro Band, led by the charismatic guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Patti Spadaro released their single, "Glass Shatters," This stirring song honors women's courage and resilience and was inspired by the historic swearing-in of the United States' first female Vice President.

"Glass Shatters" began to take shape in the winter of 2020-2021, when Spadaro was moved by a key historical event. "I remember sitting by the TV and watching the swearing-in of our first female Vice President," Spadaro relates. "I was overjoyed to finally be represented in the second highest seat of our government. I wanted to join you in celebrating this historic milestone. This was a real moment of progress."

The song, which Spadaro characterizes as a "rallying cry," aims to bring together women from all walks of life and celebrate their achievements. "If we 'keep rising, never giving up,' progress will continue," she continues. The music has five women's vocals harmonizing and weaving together, with Spadaro on guitar and Anne Celedonia on keyboard, as well as background vocalists Cherylann Hawk, Jill Simmons, and Alison McTavish. Eric Kurtzrock, drummer and recording engineer, and Ryan Black, bassist, each bring their unique qualities to the mix.

Spadaro's musical career has carried her from Pennsylvania to the Musician's Institute in Hollywood and back, where she has made substantial contributions to the music industry.

Her path has included publishing many albums, performing at prestigious clubs and festivals, and opening for great acts such as Little Feat, Eddie Van Halen, and Melvin Seals & JGB. Despite her success in Los Angeles, she returned to Pennsylvania to raise her two girls while maintaining her musical career, producing two additional albums and touring extensively.
