Carson Ferris Releases New Electro-Pop Single "Ghosts"

Carson Ferris, a gifted 14-year-old pop singer-songwriter from Provo, Utah, returns with his latest hit, "Ghosts." This electro-pop song combines groovy vibes with a profound message, relying on Carson's personal experiences and observations to explore the issue of moving on from toxic or unhealthy relationships.

"Ghosts" is Carson's debut collaboration with acclaimed producer Matthew Parker. Originally intended as a dance track in the style of Dua Lipa, the song evolved into a slower-tempo, synth-heavy gem that flawlessly balanced emotional vocals with electronic beats. The finished result is a compelling combination of poignant lyrics and chill vibes reminiscent of Kygo or Marshmello's remixes.

When asked about "Ghosts," Carson explained, "This song is about letting go and moving on from situations and people that aren't good for you." The bridge emphasizes that moving on is the only way to be okay. Holding on only increases resentment. Forgiveness is essential, even if it appears easier to keep a grudge.

Carson's musical adventure began at the age of six, with an electric guitar. His talent blossomed as he performed with Dave Wilbur's Rock Lab and the One Voice Children's Choir. Throughout the epidemic, Carson pursued solo projects, recording music in Los Angeles, and released his debut single "Can't Be Without You" in 2021. Notably, he appeared in Donny Osmond's Las Vegas performance and won Honourable Mention in the Teen category for his song "Crazy" as well as a finalist for Best Male Artist in the International Acoustic Music Awards for "Drive Alone Acoustic Version."

"Ghosts" is Carson's first single in nearly nine months, following his 2023 release "Talkin' to You." This new song has a more electronic vibe, demonstrating Carson's versatility and growth as an artist. "Ghosts" was written by Carson Ferris and produced, mixed, and mastered by Matthew Parker at his home studio.

Carson's music is influenced by Journey as well as Ed Sheeran and the Jonas Brothers and is intended to be both approachable and relevant. He continues to juggle his music career with online studies, which allows him to play at local music festivals while also writing and producing songs.

"Ghosts" is currently accessible across all major streaming platforms. Don't miss this heartfelt yet relaxing electro-pop tune about the significance of moving on from disastrous relationships.

Stay tuned for more fantastic music from Carson Ferris, who continues to capture audiences with his distinct style and compassionate lyrics.
