London, United Kingdom-based avant-garde composer Richard Green has debuted "Your Angel," his most recent instrumental masterwork. This moving tune presents a dramatic fusion of classical and contemporary music, showcasing the extraordinary talents of Italian pianist Irene Veneziano and the Archimia strings quartet.
Green and Veneziano started working together during the COVID-19 pandemic after becoming friends for life online. Since then, their creative synergy has grown and produced several successful ventures. Veneziano contributes her extraordinary skill to "Your Angel." She is well-known for her incredible resume, which includes over 70 awards from piano contests and appearances at esteemed locations like La Scala di Milano. The work gains a rich and textured layer from the Archimia strings quartet, which is based in Green's hometown. Notably, Archimia has shared the road with well-known Italian lyricist Elisa in the past.
Recorded at the well-known local studio "Studio Elfo," "Your Angel" embodies Green's avant-garde approach to music by fusing pop and neoclassical elements that call to mind Giovanni Allevi. Part of Green's EP "The Circle Closes," which is the second part of a trilogy that started with "A Journey" and will wrap up later this year, is this track.
