Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends "Happy People Won’t Hear"- A Dark Yet Melodic Journey

Swedish musician Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends has returned with a new track, "Happy People Won't Listen," which combines joyful tunes with dark lyrics. Coming from Stockholm, Alien Friend leads the solo project after being a guitarist and vocalist for Redmoon. Starting in 2021, the musician has released several impactful singles and albums that blend elements of 60s and 70s music with a contemporary twist. Teaming up with co-producer David Myhr of The Merrymakers enriches this distinctive musical experience.

The most recent song, "Happy People Won't Hear," immerses its audience in a clever blend of a catchy Beach Boys-style tune and poignant, deep lyrics. The song reflects on how the wealthy and privileged are unaware of the challenges of war, oppression, and violence, showing their disconnect from these issues.

While the song transitions from a bright, energetic power-pop feel to a playful 19th-century waltz, the difference becomes more pronounced, emphasizing the idea that certain individuals are still oblivious to the harsh truths of the world.

This surprising and brilliant sonic variation, reminiscent of the Strauss family's styles, is unexpected. "Happy People Won't Hear" is more than just a catchy song, it is a satirical critique of society's indifference. Those who enjoy indie rock, folk, and power pop will find value in the depth of musicality and significance present in this contemplative song.
