Zagnutt's "Lincoln Lounge" honors an iconic venue with great respect.

The latest single from Zagnutt, Boston's underground rock band, is "Lincoln Lounge," a heartfelt tribute to the band's long-standing rehearsal space and creative home. For more than two decades, the Lincoln Lounge has not only served as a venue for the band but also as a meeting spot for friends, family, and fellow artists to unite, work together, and revel in the delight of music. The song celebrates this magical place that has been an important part of the band's journey since they were formed in 1999.

The essence of friendship and innovation that has inspired Zagnutt’s music for many years is embodied in "Lincoln Lounge". Captured at Electric Treehouse Studio with notable engineer Alec Francesoni and perfected at Peerless Mastering in Newton, MA, the song embodies the band's distinctive groove rock style, combining complex guitar melodies with a powerful rhythm section and lively saxophone arrangements. Zagnutt's roster includes Jason Sullivan on bass, Magic Dave Roberts on keyboards, Darin McLean on percussion, Vitalijus Lisovskis on saxophone, Mike Carlucci on drums, Erik White on guitar, and DaveO Whitston on vocals.

The original artwork for the single, licensed by artist Paul Wilson, drummer for Big Ray and The Futuras, brings a unique element to the release, reflecting the strong bond the band shares with their musical evolution and artistic environment.

“Lincoln Lounge” is not just a song for fans of groove-driven rock; it is a tribute to Zagnutt's music essence and their supporters.

Whether you have been a loyal follower for a while or are new to their music, this track showcases the band's commitment to their art and their fans.
